Salary structures and CTC
Set up pay components as fixed amounts, a % of basic, a % of CTC or a formula, group them into structures per grade, and keep every CTC revision. Approved HR promotions and increments with a new CTC become salary revisions.

Inputs pulled, not typed
Loss-of-pay days come from the attendance register, joiners and leavers are pro-rated, and arrears, one-time earnings and deductions, reimbursements paid through payroll and advance recoveries are picked up when the run is computed.

PF, ESI, PT and LWF
Provident fund with the wage ceiling, ESI for eligible employees, professional tax by the state of each person's work location, and labour welfare fund, all calculated per payslip.

Income tax and declarations
Employees pick the old or new regime, declare investments and upload proofs in a window you set; approved proofs and previous-employer income feed an annual projection and the monthly TDS.

Runs with approval
Each month goes draft, computed, sent for approval, approved, paid and locked. Hold a salary, compare with last month, recompute before approval. A paid run never changes.

Payslips and self-service
PDF payslips for every employee. When pay goes out, people get an email that links to My payroll, where they see their payslips and tax in the app or on the phone app.

Bank file and statutory reports
Bank transfer CSV (generic and NEFT layout), payroll register in Excel, a journal CSV, PF ECR, ESI, PT and TDS summaries. Recording a filing closes the matching filing on the Compliance calendar.

Loans, advances and full & final
Salary loans go through approval, get disbursed and are recovered as EMIs through payroll. Full and final settlements are computed, approved and settled. Insurance plans with dependants can be added to the run.

AI run explainer
Off by default and only for payroll roles: before you approve a run, AI explains in plain words why pay changed for the flagged people and what to check. Names are hidden from the model, and it never changes the run.

Salaries stay private
Payroll has its own roles (admin, processor, viewer). Managers and HR roles see nothing unless they are given one; every employee sees only their own payslips.
Numbers from your own records
Attendance, leave, reimbursements and loans already in Nirmanix feed the run, so nobody re-types inputs at month end.
Approve before anything is paid
A run is paid only after it is approved, and once paid it is locked. Approvals go to owners and payroll admins.
